Lioudmila & Serguei Blinov


Established the studio and manage it. Lioudmila and Serguei are a professional husband and wife dance team. Married for 30 years, they have danced together for 20 years. In Russia, they were finalists in numerous competitions and also trained other competitive dance couples.  Since arriving in the United States, both have taught dance at several studios in Northern Virginia, including Arthur Murray, Dance World USA and Dance Factory. They compete regularly in competitions around the United states. Serguei received several certifications as a professional instructor since his arrival in the US in 1992.  


Bryan Duffy


Bryan specializes in teaching students new to dance. In 1984 he made his debut as a ballroom dance instructor working for his father’s dance studio located in Alexandria, VA. For 26 years Bryan has been teaching as an independent dance instructor.  Bryan can choreograph, teach and perform Latin and Ballroom dances such as salsa, bachata, merengue, lindy hop, west coast swing, Viennese and Standard Waltz, line dancing and the varieties of of country and western dances. Focused on promoting social dancing, Bryan is also no stranger to competition or theater.  

  Jia Campbell


Jia comes to us from China. Although well versed in all ballroom dancing, her main focus is the International Latin  style. She has competed in China and here in the States, receiving many awards along the way including the 1st Place Award  Latin Dancing Youth Team 2004 in Handan City. Her qualifications and training include the Title of Stage Grade A Teacher Ballroom Teaching in Latin Dancing from China CBDS examiners. British Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and American IDTA International appraiser.   Her husband, Colin, is stationed at Patrick Air Force Base, and they have two children: Rowena, 7 and Ethan, 4.


Nadege Noel


Nadege Noel was born and raised in Haiti. She has had a strong interest in dancing since the age of 7 years old. She has a background in ballet, Salsa, Merengue, Compa and Argentine Tango. Nadege has over fifteen years' experience dancing Argentine Tango. She has taught at different studios and community centers and performed on many occasions in New York City. Nadege strongly believes that everyone can dance and have fun


   Maria Bliznetsova


Ever since Maria was little girl, dance has been a mainstay in her life. Starting to study ballet at age 10 at the Krasnoyarsk State Choreography Academy (Siberia, Russia), she graduated with honors and extensive training in Classical Ballet, Ballroom, folk dancing and choreography methods. Maria also has masters degree in Education Science, after graduating from Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University in 2006.

After moving to United States in 2012 from her hometown in Siberia, Maria got certifyed with NDCA and started to teach Ballroom in various dance studios, including Lioudmila's.

Maria has been competing with her students in ProAm devision for three years all over US and loves to work with both beginners and advanced dancers of all ages, as well as helping wedding couples make their first dance easy, unforgettable and natural looking. 


James Kim


James, originally from Seoul, Korea, began dancing at the age of 10 and became a ballroom dance   instructor while still in high school. He won his first Rising Star National Dance competition at the     age of 17 in Korea. Although he also works as an industrial engineer, James is focused on both International Ballroom- Latin and American Smooth- Rhythm. Some of his achievements include winning: Virginia Dance Sport, Pennsylvania DS, New York Manhattan DS, Baltimore Dance Sport competition and many more. 



 Enzo Esposito


Vincenzo (Enzo) Esposito was born in Manduria, a small town in southern Italy. Initially at the age of 6, he, like most other boys, started playing soccer. But somehow, he came home from every practice looking sad. After few years, his mother finally watched him play and realized that her son’s posture was different from other kids chasing the balls; he looked like he was dancing and not playing soccer! Following his mother’s advice, Enzo started ballroom dancing at 11, with his younger sister, Arianna. They first started with the Italian Smooth Style and when they moved up to Junior 2 category, they also started dancing International Standard and Latin. As brother and sister, they worked very well together, making finals in all styles. In 2001, they became South Italian champions in Italian Smooth style. Enzo continued with his dance career with Fiora Attanasio while Arianna was recovering from injury. In 2004, Enzo and Fiora became Italian National 10 Dance Finalist. After 4 years of successful career with Fiora, Enzo decided to started dancing once again with his sister, Arianna. They made top three in their first competitions back together (FIDS Puglia Regional Championships) and subsequently, made finals in all National competitions (both Ballroom and Latin) until Arianna decided to dance with Gianni Caliandro in 2008. At that time, Enzo decided to retire from competitions and teach younger competitors. In 2012, Vincenzo visited his sister who has since been living in the US. Watching his sister dance at a competition inspired him to start dancing again. In 2015, he moved to the US as a professional dancer and started dancing with Yo Matsubara in 2016. They have been competing together nationally and internationally since then. Recently they competed at the Asian Open Championships in Tokyo, Japan amongst many of the top professionals including Blackpool finalists, and they placed 63rd out of 180 couples!


 Elena Black


Elena is a native Russian. Started dancing at the age of 6. She was professionally trained in Russian folk dance. Ballroom dancing became her passion after attending a local competition when she was 13. Shortly Elena enrolled in the Dance Sport Center where she was taught by European and World ballroom dance champions from Formation Vera (Tyumen, Russia). She competed and performed at local and national championships.

Elena moved to US in 2008 and before joining Lioudmila's Dance Studio in 2016, she worked for Arthur Murray dance school.She is very passionate about wedding couples; she believes it couldn't get any more romantic than dancing for the first time as husband and wife. 

Outside of dance world, Elena is pursuing a career in Real Estate Development. She loves to travel and experience local dance cultures, try new food and just spend as much time outdoors as possible.


Tony Matarazzi


Tony Matarazzi has been dancing since his days in college where he studied  business.  He continued to pursue his dance career, turned professional in 1989, and has been teaching ever since.

He has taught both at local studios and as an independent instructor.  Tony has taught classes for military officers, church groups, and at condo buildings.

He has experience performing exhibitions at public, private, and corporate events.

Tony teaches American Style Smooth and Rhythm, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata.  He specializes in teaching his students the fundamentals of partner dancing and shares his knowledge and experience to guide them in pursuit of their dancing goals.


Adrian Van Gorder


Dance Studio Loudmila is pleased to announce the addition of Adrian Van Gorder to our team.  Adrian comes to us with a very strong background in Argentine Tango and will begin teaching classes on May 24th.  Adrian has received training from some of the best which include National and World Champions.

As an active Argentine Tango competitor, he won 4 of the 6 competitions he entered across the country in 2016.  So far this year, he has been crowned the winner in two championships.  His most recent win was at the Mountain States Tango Challenge in Denver, Colorado.  He is also the reigning DC Tango Challenge Champion and has been for 3 the past 4 years.

Adrian is very enthusiastic about teaching and finds great satisfaction in the progress of his students. His teaching technique is based on years of experience in classes and workshops from around the country.  His goal is to give each student what it takes, to get them to their next level.
